We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, safety, and building strong teams. We're currently seeking a skilled and experienced Grade Crew Foreman to lead grading operations on a variety of projects.

Job Summary:
The Grade Crew Foreman will supervise and coordinate activities of the grading crew engaged in site preparation, excavation, and fine grading for commercial, residential, or public projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, a deep understanding of heavy equipment and grading techniques, and a commitment to safety and productivity. Your primary responsibility, as a Pipe Crew Foreman, will be to lead and manage pipe crews in our underground utility installation projects, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems while maintaining quality and adhering to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the grade crew, ensuring efficient use of labor and equipment
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and grades
- Operate and oversee operation of heavy equipment such as dozers, graders, and excavators
- Ensure work is performed to meet quality standards, production goals, and project timelines
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and policies
- Train and mentor crew members; conduct daily job site meetings and safety briefings
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and progress tracking
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grading/earthwork construction, with a least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of grading procedures, equipment, and GPS grade control systems (Trimble, Topcon, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, site plans, and grading specs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus
