Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Title to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in both mobile and web applications. This role requires proficiency in various testing tools and methodologies, including TestNG, Selenium, and RESTful API testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
- Perform functional testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure software quality.
- Utilize automation tools such as Selenium and TestNG for efficient test execution.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to gather business requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software performance, including A/B testing outcomes.
- Maintain documentation of test cases, defects, and overall testing processes using tools such as Jira or HP ALM.
- Participate in release management activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing with a focus on mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web services.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting automated tests.
- Familiarity with databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle for data analysis skills.
- Experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub/GitLab) and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture principles.
- Solid grasp of QA/QC processes including functional testing, performance testing, unit testing, and system testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively using debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for thorough data analysis.
