Responsibilities
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by applying conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Perform routine patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks, hazards, or loss prevention opportunities.
- Enforce safety protocols by conducting inspections, managing crowd control, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Experience
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential threats or irregularities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions during emergencies or conflicts.
