Oil Change & Detail Technician
Pay
- $15/hr per tire bonus (high bonus potential)
- Paid weekly
JOB PURPOSE
The Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, tire, and light mechanical services on vehicles. Tech will man one of our stations at RSW and/or PGD airports servicing rental returns. Additionally we have mobile service vans, servicing fleets in the Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, and Punta Gorda areas. DOT inspection experience a huge plus!!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Write up work orders.
- Dismount, mount, and balance tires on passenger cars and SUV's.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing services.
- Diagnose and repair (patch) tires as needed.
- Maintains records of time, materials, and work performed.
- Communicate effectively with management and our customers.
- Build positive relationships with employees and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVES)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer and math skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license and be 18 years of age
- Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays
- Desire to learn a new set of skills
- Tech-savvy with a smartphone
- Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (NICE TO HAVES)

- 1-2 years of oil change and auto mechanic training
- Customer service experience
- Flexibility to move around the US
- Fleet experience (rental cars, trucks, etc.)
- Manual technical background
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
