What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door-to-Door Neighborhood Rep position at Gulf Coast Painting & More?
Gulf Coast Painting & More is one of the busiest residential painting companies in Southwest Florida, and our schedule is filling up fast. We're looking for a few friendly, confident people to knock doors in the neighborhoods where our crews are already working.
This is the easiest door knocking job out there. You're not cold selling. Our crew is painting a house right on that street, and the neighbors can see it. You introduce yourself, let them know the owner is doing free color consults and estimates while we're in the area, and book a quick look. That's it. We give you a simple script and teach you exactly what to say.
What you'll do:
- Knock doors around our active jobs and in neighborhoods near past jobs (North Port, Port Charlotte, Venice, Englewood, Punta Gorda)
- Use our short script to set free estimate appointments
- Leave door hangers when nobody's home or the timing isn't right
- Grab a name and number from anyone who says "not right now"
- Report your doors, conversations and appointments each week
Pay:
- $25 for every appointment you set that gets run
- $100 bonus every time one of your appointments turns into a sold job
- No cap. Set more, make more.
- Paid weekly
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking to new people
- Reliable. You show up when you say you will.
- Valid driver's license and your own transportation
- A smartphone
- Available afternoons, evenings or weekends (you pick your hours, about 2 hours at a time)
