What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid-Level Practitioner position at Gulf Coast Gastroenterology?
Mid-level Practitioner (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program and current licensure to practice in the State of Texas.No experience required. This position is located within a GI and general practice clinic;
- Practitioner will provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical care and services under the guidance of the physician.
- Assesses acute and non-acute clinical problems and toxicities and recommends options to address the issues.
- Assures effective safety procedures are implemented in the field.
- Develops and implements a plan of care to meet patient and family needs, coordinates with staff, leads implementation of latest standards of care and provides treatment for acute and chronic illnesses or injuries.
- Delivers comprehensive patient management services that may include, telehealth visits, writing, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnosis studies.
We are a patient-focused practice, dedicated to providing top quality care to all who we service A gentle bedside manner and dedication to knowledgeable care is a must. GI experience is a plus.
SALARY & BENEFITS
