Make a difference as a Registered Nurse - PRN
As a PRN Registered Nurse at Gulf Breeze Recovery, your day will be invigorating and impactful. You'll dive into reviewing reports, assessing detox and residential clients, and ensuring the vital continuity of care. Throughout your shift, you will administer and monitor medications while skillfully assessing withdrawal symptoms. Your expertise will come into play as you update care plans and liaise with the medical director about renewals or changes, blending structured clinical protocols with real-time decision-making. You'll respond to evolving medical and behavioral needs, all while educating clients on their health, safety, and treatment paths.
Accurate documentation, medication management, and regulatory compliance will be your constant companions, ensuring the highest standards of care. By the end of your shift, after thorough charting and handoff procedures, you'll leave knowing that your compassionate, recovery-focused care has made a significant difference in each client's journey.
Would you be a great Registered Nurse - PRN?
To thrive as a PRN Registered Nurse at Gulf Breeze Recovery, you'll need a diverse skill set that blends clinical expertise with adept communication. We currently use the KIPU electronic medical record system. Prior experience with KIPU is a plus, but not required. Your training will encompass critical areas such as CPR, HIV/AIDS education, and understanding blood-borne pathogens, ensuring you are well-equipped to handle sensitive situations. Familiarity with organizational paperwork, program principles, rules, and guidelines will be crucial for maintaining compliance and delivering seamless care.
Knowledge of the requirements for effective communication with both co-workers and clients will foster a collaborative environment, enhancing patient experiences. Additionally, an understanding of current Joint Commission and DCF standards will ensure you uphold the highest quality of care while meeting treatment plan requirements. By mastering these competencies, you'll be set to navigate the unique challenges of this dynamic role effectively.
