Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and caring Substitute Teachers to support our classrooms on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in education, flexible work, or gaining experience in a Montessori setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with students in a safe and respectful manner
- Support lead teachers and follow classroom routines
- Maintain a calm, positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities and transitions
- Ensure the well-being of all students at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to different age groups (12 months–12 years)
- Background check required
