We are seeking a dependable and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and the ability to manage a crew while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must have clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor or management role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping or groundskeeping
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
Job Description:
- Supervise and manage an 8-14 man crew
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Conduct toolbox safety meetings with the crew
- Ensure all crew members follow proper safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety standards and company guidelines
- Training new employees on job specific tasks and company standards
- Track time and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Diagnosing and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, such as tractors, excavators, and zero turn mowers.
- Perform a variety of landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, planting flowers, laying much, and weeding
- Perform irrigation repairs and troubleshoot issues
- Assist the manager with additional tasks as needed.
