Full Time Licensed Dental Assistant.

Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with active licensure
  • Proficient in chairside assisting, instrument processing, dental terminology, and patient care
  • Experience with general dentistry; familiarity with EMR/Dentrix/Eaglesoft and HIPAA compliance
  • Knowledge of radiography, medical/dental imaging, and pediatric dentistry basics
  • Strong information management skills: medical records, documentation, and patient management software
  • Commitment to clinical confidentiality and quality patient interactions

Responsibilities

  • Perform chairside assistance during dental procedures, including instrument setup, passing tools, suction, and patient management for efficient and comfortable appointments.
  • Process and sterilize dental instruments, manage dental supplies, and operate or troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Document patient records, treatment plans, and medical history with accuracy, maintaining strict confidentiality per HIPAA and clinic policies.
  • Utilize EMR systems and practice software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) for scheduling, charting, imaging, and radiographs while ensuring patient safety and compliance.
  • Support pediatric and general dentistry sessions, monitor vital signs when appropriate, and coordinate with the dentist to optimize patient care.

Summary

As a Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will supervise and support the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care in a general dentistry setting. Reporting to the Practice Manager or Lead Dentist, you will leverage core skills in chairside assisting, instrument processing, patient management, and dental terminology to ensure efficient procedures, accuracy in clinical documentation, and stringent confidentiality. Your premium skills in EMR systems, Dentrix/Eaglesoft, HIPAA compliance, and pediatric dentistry will enhance patient flow, imaging, and recordkeeping, contributing to a safe, professional, and patient-centered practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Silverdale, WA 98383: Relocate before starting work (Required)
