Retail Sales Associates
Guiry’s, a local retailer of paint and painting supplies serving both commercial and residential customers is seeking a Retail Associate for our Boulder, Colorado store.
Family-owned and operated since 1899, Guiry’s has been one of Colorado and New Mexico's painting and supply retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service.
Our Sales Associates work closely with both contractors and retail customers. Architectural paint experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are required to be successful in these positions.
Responsibilities of the Sales Associate include:
- Assisting customers with colors and all necessary supplies for their projects
- Mixing and matching colors using paint tinting machines
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Stock merchandise – rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed
- Handle credit and cash transactions
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Must be flexible to the scheduling needs of the store and learning and working in all departments
- Position requires working at least one weekend day per week
- Current Store hours are M-F 7:00am-7:00pm; Sat 8:00am-5:00pm; Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm
- You must have availability during all store hours
Qualifications include:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to regularly lift 75lbs
- Prior Paint experience a plus
- Prior experience delivering excellent customer service (retail environment preferred)
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude, great communication and time management skills, and eager to learn.

- Self-motivated, detail oriented, hard-working, punctual and neat appearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,360.00 - $39,540.00 per hour
