Duties

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product presentation
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, addressing questions or concerns promptly
- Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts
- Promote store promotions to maximize sales potential
Experience
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with retail operations and customer service excellence
- Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership skills in guiding team members or managing shifts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product information and build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash drawer handling
