Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Transport Driver to join our team. The Medical Transport Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations.
Duties
- Safety operate a medical transportation van, to transport passengers to and from medical related appointments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Follow basic instructions to navigate to specified locations following a strict time schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers during transportation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting the vehicle, and entering into buildings as needed. To include safety operating a wheel chair lift.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a medical transportation driver is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving practices and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Valid Class C driver's license with passenger endorsement is required
- Clean driving record is required
- CPR Certification is required
- Current DOT physical is required
Employer assistance available to obtain CPR certification, and obtain a current DOT Physical.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.13 per hour
