We’re seeking a Commercial Garage Door Technician who is mechanically strong, safety-minded, and ready to tackle challenging projects involving commercial doors, operators, and dock equipment. 🛠 What You’ll Do

• Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors, high-cycle doors, roll-up doors, and commercial operators

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on job sites

• Perform safety inspections and ensure all work meets OSHA, manufacturer, and industry standards

• Maintain accurate job documentation including service notes, photos, and recommendations

• Operate power tools, scissor lifts, and ladders safely and effectively

• Communicate with customers and team members to ensure smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction

• Identify additional service opportunities (safety upgrades, replacements, operator improvements)

• Support commercial projects throughout the Indianapolis metro area

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 1 years of commercial garage door or related mechanical experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools & equipment

• Ability to work at heights, including ladders and lifts

• Knowledge of commercial door systems, torsion springs, operators, dock equipment (preferred but not required for fast learners)

• Understanding of OSHA safety guidelines and jobsite best practices

• Ability to lift and maneuver 75 lbs

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
