The Loan Officer Assistant plays a key role in the organization, performing tasks related to assisting originators build complete loan files for submission.
**Lead to Contract Duties:**
* Act as primary point of contact for customers
* Assist originators with appointment setting
* Provide lead call backs within 20 minutes and maintain a 35% conversion rate
* Manage calendars and client databases
* Support originators with obtaining accurate and thorough 1003 forms
* Analyze customer credit and financial scenarios
* Run credit on assigned loans
* Prepare Initial Fee Worksheets
* Pull and prep web applications and other duties
* Request status updates from pre-approved clients
* Stay up-to-date with company approved programs and software systems
* Provide marketing support by creating and distributing advertising materials
**Contract to Close Duties:**
* Monitor key dates related to loan transactions
* Send loan forms and disclosures agreements to customers
* Manage assigned originator's database
* Maintain customer contact for follow-up and basic inquiries
* Provide support in submitting loan applications
* Order supporting documentation as needed
* Review CD to ensure fees and cash at closing are consistent
* Provide status updates to referral sources
**Additional Common Duties:**
* Act as primary point of contact for customers
* Price loans in accordance with Guild's policies
* Communicate fees to operations team
* Maintain referral source relationships
* Prepare thank you cards for referral sources and new clients
* Collect supporting documentation from customers
* Discuss product features with customers

Requirements:
* Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting
* Must work on-site
* Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse
* Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings
* Environmental: Office environment - no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field
- Active MLO licensing required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong detail orientation
- Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
- Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service
- Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers
- Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
