About Us
Guiding Star ABA, LLC is a new ABA clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate, and individualized therapy services for children with autism and developmental needs. As a startup clinic, we are looking for an experienced BCBA who is excited to help build a strong clinical foundation, support staff development, and make a meaningful impact from the very beginning.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience as a BCBA
- Experience in a clinic-based ABA setting
- Experience with insurance-based documentation and treatment plans
- Experience helping develop clinical systems, policies, or staff training programs
- Experience with CentralReach
Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify underlying causes of behaviors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Perform client assessments, including intake evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing progress reviews.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessment methods.
- Proven ability to conduct behavioral health assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations.
- Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Effective client communication skills to engage clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams positively.
