Medical Director Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for assigned medical centers
- Mentor, support, and collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers
- Promote evidence-based medicine and clinical best practices
- Support quality improvement initiatives, population health programs, and value-based care objectives
- Partner with operational leadership to improve patient experience and clinical performance
- Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and professional development
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain an active clinical practice while fulfilling leadership responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Active DEA registration
- Previous physician leadership or Medical Director experience preferred
- Strong understanding of outpatient primary care and value-based care
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring providers and improving patient outcomes
