General Summary:
The Front Office Supervisor will oversee the daily operation of the Front Office Staff and ensure maximum efficiency in the care and experience of the patients. The Supervisor will work in a fast-paced and exciting environment and apply their skills in a highly visible and critical role. Crucial Care provides non-hospital-based emergency care in a hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facility efficiently provides high quality care that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions and create savings.
Description of Essential Duties:
Office/Facility
Manages and directs the day-to-day operations of office staff in accordance with company policies, protocols and procedures.
Ensures the highest degree of customer service and patient quality care is always maintained.
Identifies and resolves problems to improve services and patient experience.
Ensures all the administrative duties of the facility are completed in a timely manner.
Ensures all patient charts are accurate and complete while patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
Supervises the selection and ordering of office supplies.
Responsible to manage facility to the agreed upon procedures and performance indicators regarding office visit maximums, insurance verification and authorization, co-pay collection, patient wait time, safety, and cleanliness.
Assures the readiness of the reception area for each working day, confirms that the office opens at the designated time and have all front desk activities fully operational at the start of business hours. Confirms the office closes.
Regulatory
Monitors/manages that all regulatory agency guidelines are implemented and in compliance. (i.e. CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA).
Maintains all regulatory binders with current and up to date information.
Revenue Cycle
Participate in weekly RC huddles
Collaborate with RC team to ensure 5-day charge lag
Audit charts daily to ensure accuracy in coding
Front Desk Staff
Assists Facility Director in hiring of new front office staff and employee orientation and training.
Assist with maintaining personnel records as required.
Responsible for delegation of work and staffing hours.
Assure the staff is trained and operated in compliance with all government and other regulatory agencies.
Arrange coverage for employees out sick or on vacation.
Follow the information security policies and management system, contributing to their effectiveness, and actively reporting on their performance.

Active BLS certification (or strongly preferred);
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical office, hospital, or clinic in a patient services or similar role
Previous lead, supervisory or training experience strongly preferred
Must successfully pass a background screen and drug test
Able to perform the duties expected for an active role in a busy office environment (standing, walking, teaching, public speaking, pulling, pushing, lifting, etc.)
Ability to use all necessary office equipment (faxes, copiers, computers, telephones, etc.)
Able to stand and work up to 12-hours in a day
Legibly write English, clearly speak English and proficiently read English
