Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate, academically enriching activities that promote growth, creativity, and school readiness
  • Providing nurturing, hands-on care for infants (6 weeks–12 months), including feeding and diapering, while incorporating early learning experiences such as tummy time, sensory exploration, visual tracking, and language exposure
  • Engaging toddlers (1–3 years old) through structured play that supports early language development, fine and gross motor skills, color and shape recognition, and simple problem-solving activities
  • Assisting with preschool-aged children (3–5 years old) by leading activities focused on early literacy, number recognition, writing readiness, phonics, and hands-on STEM-based exploration
  • Supporting school-age children (5–13 years old) with homework assistance, reading comprehension, critical thinking activities, creative writing, and enrichment projects such as arts, science experiments, and beginner-level cooking activities (no stove)
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that promotes both learning and play
  • Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety while encouraging social-emotional development and teamwork
  • Building positive, professional relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
  • Assisting with daily transitions (meals, naps, activities) while reinforcing structure, routine, and learning opportunities throughout the day
  • Modeling kindness, patience, professionalism, and a genuine love for learning in all interactions

If you’re passionate about blending education with fun, and believe even the smallest learners can achieve big milestones, we’d love to have you on our team!

Qualifications

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and ready to grow in a fun, professional, and education-focused environment!

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be willing and motivated to enroll in and complete a CDA program
