This position would be an in home / in school position for the East Brainerd area of Chattanooga.

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills
- Support teaching strategies that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding clients’ medical records and personal information
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, patience, and growth for all clients
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching methods effectively in various settings
- Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately during sessions
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families effectively
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards outlined by HIPAA regulations
