Guide Property Services, a rapidly growing mid-size property management company based in Seattle, Washington and is expanding to the Boise market, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who is eager to grow and succeed with us. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform efficient and detailed turnovers.
- Estimate repair time and extent of repairs accurately.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
- Oversee work performed by external contractors when needed.
- Maintain property grounds when necessary.
- Maintain accurate reporting using Appfolio
- Clear and consistent communication with tenants and Managers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Must be able to use app-based reporting software on an iPad, Outlook email, etc.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have reliable transportation and your own set of basic tools.
