As the Head Housekeeper for our Residence building in San Rafael, CA you’ll lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality housekeeping and janitorial services that support our clients, staff, and volunteers. With a focus on maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and excellent communication, you’ll play an important role in creating a comfortable environment for all. This is a full-time position with a set schedule from Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Pay Range:
$30.00-$33.00/hour

What you’ll do:
- Oversee and participate in all housekeeping and janitorial activities for the Residence building
- Maintain cleanliness standards and coordinate scheduled services, inspections, and room turnovers
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including performance management and team meetings
- Manage inventory of linens and supplies, place orders, and track usage
- Support food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, service, and dishwashing
- A leadership role where your contributions keep our campus running smoothly
- A consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance and a supportive environment
- Opportunities to collaborate with staff across departments, including kitchen and residential teams

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; at least 3 years of housekeeping experience, including staff supervision
- Food preparation experience preferred; ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work with cleaning equipment, and stand for extended periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (including email and voicemail) with high professional standards
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and service dogs
