The Lounge Attendant is a multifunctional role requiring the incumbent to support bartending, inventory control, ordering, administrative and financial tracking tasks, processing purchase orders, and assisting in hot and cold food preparation for guests and base personnel. The Lounge Attendant must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared appetizers and meals. They must move quickly yet safely around the lounge and kitchen.The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $25.00/hr., based on experience, plus tips.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Employment is contingent on the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately and promptly fill beverage, food, and merchandise orders in a friendly and professional manner
Pour, mix, and serve drinks following standardized recipes
Maintain the liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, equipment, and other inventory
Process payments from customers using the touchscreen point-of-sale system and credit card system
Check identification of customers as required for guests who order alcohol
Set up and recover remote bar service as requested
Conduct routine cleaning of the lounge and kitchen, furnishings, and equipment
Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers verbally and in writing, including vendors and corporate support administrators
Produces daily, monthly, and annual reports related to food and beverage transactions with customers and vendors, and submits reports as required on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, or as otherwise requested
Assists with the updates to the product buttons programming, including price changes and the additional and removal of product buttons
Uses Microsoft Office, Workday, and Aloha computer system or other provided software platforms
Works in conjunction with the Production Chef to make requisitions for supplies
Demonstrates safety practices with equipment and use personal protective equipment as assigned
Ensures all products are kept and served at proper temperature
Follows SOP and BOH regulations for safe food handling practices
Rotates and monitors stock and notifies food and beverage leadership when items are needed
Coordinates with the food and beverage leadership for appetizer prep for the following shift
Keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the office, lounge, and kitchen at all times
Sets up work stations with products and equipment
Cross trains to serve as a backup Cashier and Financial Coordinator
Maintains the ability to work a flexible schedule
Supports other duties as assigned based on operational requirements
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; Degree or Certificate from an accredited school, or five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of at least 21 years of age.
Valid Driver's License required
Proficient in arithmetic, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize Office 365, among other software platforms.
Must obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification and TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
Strong sanitation habits and familiarity with HAACP standards.
Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
Ability to keep knowledgeable of trends and innovation within the food and beverage service and culinary industry and apply when suitable or applicable.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand for the entire work day
Climbing stairs and step ladders regularly.
Withstanding temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in and grill areas.
reading and writing work-related documents in English.
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties. .
