Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Training Coordinator to join our team. This position requires a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and the use of learning management systems (LMS). The Training Coordinator will also be responsible for educating staff on various learning technologies and facilitating engaging training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement training programs that meet organizational needs and align with company goals.
- Utilize classroom settings and online platforms such as Blackboard to deliver training content effectively.
- Create engaging instructional materials using tools like Adobe Captivate to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making adjustments as necessary.
- Present training sessions in a clear and engaging manner to facilitate understanding among participants.
- Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes using the LMS.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in learning technology to continuously improve training methodologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology tools is highly desirable.
- Strong writing skills for creating clear instructional materials and documentation.
- Experience presenting information effectively in both classroom settings and virtual environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to varying learning styles.
- A passion for educating others and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
- Associates Required, Bachelor's Degree preferred in Social Services related.
- Preference: Competency in work in an education setting and/or adult learning with at least 2-years of experience working in a PCSA as a Supervisor, Caseworker, or Adoption Assessor.
