This is a substitute position, and as such, employment is contingent upon the availability of assignments and does not guarantee a specific number of hours or a consistent schedule. Work may be sporadic, and assignments can vary in duration and scope. This role does not typically include benefits afforded to regular employees.

Possess an Associate's degree
or
Completion of 48 college units
or
Passage of the Instructional Aide Test can be accepted in lieu of degrees or units.
The test can be administered at the District Office if needed.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (Prior to beginning employment):
• In accordance with Federal Law, all employees must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Must be fingerprinted in California and have background clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI
• The applicant must submit evidence that he or she is free from tuberculosis by Education Code 49406. (once hired and every four years thereafter)
• Within 6 months of employment, must complete required District training on topics such as Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention, and Mandated Reporter
