Guava Construction is hiring HVAC Technicians to help us grow our company and serve a special client – military families on Oahu. You’ll be integral to the success of our team and with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic the sky is the limit for your career progression.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
A stable workflow with over 20,000 units to work on any given day.
- Install and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to identify issues.
- Conduct repairs on malfunctioning units, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs performed.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To succeed as a laborer, you will:
- Show aloha – be professional and respectful and represent the Company well when working on resident’s homes.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Positive attitude, self-awareness, and care for others
- Some knowledge of safety and health procedures (ongoing safety training provided)
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are advantageous
- Reliable transportation (this is a must)
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to pass background check for Military Installation access – no felonies.

The base pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
