GuardSafe Security is seeking reliable, professional Security Officers for a long-term construction site assignment in Monson, Maine.
This position will provide a visible security presence at a low-rise commercial construction project and help protect the property from trespassing, vandalism, theft, and other unauthorized activity.
This is expected to be a minimum one-year assignment, with the potential for the project to continue for up to three years.
A marked GuardSafe Security patrol vehicle will be provided for use at the site.
Schedule
The site requires continuous security coverage during nights and weekends.
Monday–Friday:
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Weekends:
24-hour coverage beginning Saturday at 6:00 AM through Monday at 6:00 AM
Multiple officers will be scheduled to maintain the required coverage. Full-time schedules and longer shifts may be available depending on staffing and availability.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence at the construction site
- Patrol the property using a company-provided marked security vehicle
- Monitor the site for trespassing, vandalism, theft, suspicious activity, and safety concerns
- Conduct regular exterior and perimeter checks
- Observe and report unauthorized persons or vehicles
- Document site conditions and security activity throughout the shift
- Submit photographic activity reports approximately every 30 minutes
- Use the required mobile reporting application to document patrol activity
- Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
- Immediately report significant incidents or security concerns to GuardSafe supervision
- Follow all site-specific post orders and client instructions
Requirements
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Monson, ME work location
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a company-provided patrol vehicle
- Must have a fully charged smartphone capable of using the required TrackTik reporting application
- Must be able to submit photographs and activity reports approximately every 30 minutes while on duty
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and professional during overnight and extended shifts
- Ability to follow detailed security procedures and reporting requirements
Prior security, patrol, construction-site, or similar experience is preferred but not required. GuardSafe Security is willing to train dependable candidates who demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, and a strong work ethic.
Long-Term Opportunity
This assignment is expected to run for at least one year, with the possibility of continuing through 2029 as the construction project progresses.
