Armed Security Officer – Full Time And Part Time

Guards United is seeking highly qualified Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Winston-Salem area. Ideal candidates bring professionalism, strong situational awareness, and prior experience in armed security or military/law enforcement roles.

• Winston-Salem

Available Schedules

• Shift 1 - 6AM-2PM
• Shift 2 - 2PM-11PM
• Shift 3 - 7AM-7PM
• Shift 4 - 7PM-7AM

Positions involve warehouse and public‑area security with primarily foot patrol duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following to be considered:

• Valid North Carolina Armed Security Officer Registration
• Registration must not expire within 30 days
• Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
• Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
• Military, Police, or Corrections backgrounds also accepted
• Must provide your own:
• Handgun, holster, magazines, magazine pouch
• OC spray pouch
• Duty belt
• Black polo shirt, black boots
• Tan tactical pants (5.11 or similar)
• Black outer tactical vest/plate carrier with Velcro for company patches
• Reliable transportation and communication
• Flexible availability

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible deterrent to prevent wrongful acts against employees, customers, and property
• Conduct stationary and foot‑patrol security assignments
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Uphold all company and client security protocols
