What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at GuardPlus Security Corporation?
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, monitoring security cameras, responding to alarms and investigating suspicious activity. The ideal candidate should have excellent observation skills and be able to remain calm in stressful situations. Additionally, the Security Guard should have a valid license and a good understanding of security protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
