GuardLogic is looking to fill multiple full, part-time, and fill-in positions in the Hazard area.

GuardLogic is a growing company that prides itself on 3 things: 1) Our Quality of Approach, 2) Our Quality of People, and 3) Our Quality of Service. GuardLogic is currently looking to hire for the position of Security Officer. No prior experience is necessary as we provide training.

We are looking for reliable individuals who meet the following requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years or older

-Possess a valid driver's license

-Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

-Do not have any pending felony charges or convictions

- Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

*Note that vacation time is proportional to the employees normally scheduled hours per week. A full time 40hr week employee gets 40hrs paid vacation. A part time 16hr per week employee gets 16hr paid vacation.

Current part time and/or flex officers get the first opportunity to fill available full-time openings

Promotional opportunities are usually filled from within the organization, this is the first step.

Starting pay of $11.00 per hour.

Pay increase at completion of 6-Month Probationary Period.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

The following is a general description of the duties and responsibilities normally performed by the security officers. It is not meant to represent all of the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Security officers will monitor cameras as well as check site employees in and out.

Security officers, once trained and experienced, will train new officers as necessary.

Security officers will check all assigned interior and exterior doors to ensure they are secured.

Security officers will monitor the parking lots for various safety and security related issues.

Security officers will monitor both the interior and exterior premises for unauthorized personnel.

Security officers will patrol all building exteriors for safety hazards, unsecured areas, evidence of smoke/fire/vandalism, etc.

Security officers will identify, report, and document any security or maintenance issues discovered during patrols.
