What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Count Coordinator position at Guardiar?
Perform cycle counts, entering receivers into system, tracking inventory movements through the manufacturing process and stock checks. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory and investigate count discrepancies.
Monitor current inventory levels, tracks work orders and investigate problems. This role will also perform physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Meets deadlines no matter what and keeps manager informed of known risks
- Brings to the attention of Inventory and Systems control any recognized anomalies/variances and work with this person to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Meets inventory control by identifying variances
- Verifies inventory levels by taking physical counts; tracking lost items
- Complete physical inventory counts. (Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weight materials to determine quantity on hand)
- Complete count verifications
- Research inventory discrepancies
- Assists in determining ideal locate practices for all new parts.
- Assists in resolving receiving exceptions and discrepancies
- Performing daily cycle counts of locations and parts
- Maintains proficient level of skill in picking, stocking, and replenishment for purposes of fill in when needed.
- Assist in loss prevention investigations when required, determining root cause of material loss
- Ensure FIFO inventory method is utilized
- Monitor condition of inventory labeling to ensure item and status are clearly identifiable, location, and lot code accuracy
- Communicate effectively (written/verbal) with all levels of the organization.
- Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer skills –Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint & Outlook
- Basic Math skills
- MRP/ERP system proficiency- SAP, IFS a plus
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to create and follow a schedule
- A demonstrated background of strong work habits, clear organizational and communication skills, and the ability to be a productive team member of a growing company
- Critical thinking/problem solving skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Able to read, write and understand Spanish/English a plus
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Some college-level education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment
