Guardian Real Estate Inspections, LLC is seeking a Licensed North Carolina Home Inspector to perform high‑quality residential inspections, deliver clear and defensible reports, and provide an excellent client experience. This position offers flexible scheduling, a hybrid work environment, and long‑term professional growth within a systems‑driven, integrity‑focused company.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential home inspections in accordance with NCHILB Standards of Practice
Document findings and produce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports - Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and team members
- Maintain safe work practices in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and other confined areas
- Represent Guardian Real Estate Inspections with professionalism and integrity
Compensation & Earnings Structure
Yearly Earnings Range: Typically $55,000–$85,000 , depending on inspection volume and experience.
Compensation Model:
- 50/50 split for the first 15 inspections per month
- Annual loyalty incentive: 5% per year, up to a 70/30 standard split
- Profit‑sharing eligibility after 24 months

Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Home Inspector License
- Strong knowledge of NC building systems and SOP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce clear, client‑friendly reports
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to safely access roofs, attics, and crawlspaces
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction or building trades background
- Additional certifications (radon, mold, termite, manufactured housing, etc.) Experience with inspection software (SPECTORA preferrably)
Work Environment
- Field‑based inspections across Northeastern North Carolina
