Position Summary As a member of our new construction operations team, you will be responsible for completing low voltage wiring runs for a variety of residential products. As the construction phase progresses, you’ll trim these wire runs to accommodate specific build options, including smart home and security devices, audio and entertainment systems, and more. You’ll need to interpret housing plans accurately to run wires in a construction environment. Maintain professional customer relationships with onsite project managers, superintendents and contractors. Ensure accurate control of assigned inventory and utilization. Accurately complete work orders, time records and maintain assigned construction schedule. Ability to obtain trade licenses and registrations in accordance with State and local regulations as required. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements: Physical Demands: Include but not limited to standing, walking, working from high places, climbing ladders and navigating through small tight areas. Inclement Environment: The position is working within homes under construction, without HVAC, meaning working temperatures are subject to seasonal fluctuations. Both warm and cold weather uniforms are provided. Equipment Handling: Use ladders, power tools and move equipment between worksites as needed. Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. without assistance. What you’ll need: Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience performing similar duties, preferably in home security, cable TV, telephone service, electrical or low voltage wiring industries preferable. Experience with power tools as well as handheld tools preferable. Education: High school diploma or GED. Driving Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
