What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician position at Guardian Plumbing?
The HVAC Installer is responsible for the removal and installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems. This role ensures installations are completed efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes while maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove and replace residential HVAC systems including condensers, furnaces, air handlers, coils, and related components
- Install ductwork modifications, plenums, and ventilation components as required for system performance
- Set and connect refrigerant lines, electrical, gas, and condensate drainage systems
- Test system operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites before, during, and after installations
- Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding the work being performed
- Document installations and take pictures/videos
- Coordinate with sales, service technicians, and management to ensure project success
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
