What you'll be doingJoin the UK Parliament as a Duties Planner and play a key role in ensuring the House of Commons has the right people, in the right place, at the right time. This varied and fast-paced role sits at the heart of security operations, coordinating duties and staffing for a large and diverse team while helping Parliament respond effectively to changing operational demands.You'll manage postings, annual leave, overtime and training requests, while monitoring staffing levels, absences and working hours to ensure duties remain compliant with relevant regulations and policies. You'll work closely with security officers, operational managers and colleagues across the Duties Office, responding to enquiries and resolving staffing challenges with professionalism and sound judgement.This is an opportunity to develop valuable skills in workforce coordination, administration and operational planning within the unique environment of Parliament.
