This permanent Business & Economics Head of Department position is best suited to candidates who:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Possess a strong academic background - a 2:1 degree or above in Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline from a reputable university, ideally Russell Group
- Can demonstrate a substantial and successful track record of secondary Business and/or Economics teaching within a UK school, with clear evidence of strong pupil outcomes at KS4 and KS5
- Have proven experience of middle leadership - including curriculum development, staff management, and driving departmental improvement
- Show a clear strategic vision for Business and Economics education and the ability to translate that vision into measurable outcomes
- Are confident operating at the interface of classroom practice and whole-school leadership
- Are legally entitled to work in the UK - the school is unable to provide visa sponsorship
