Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am -3:30pm
What You Will Do
- Inventory Control: Track the distribution of tools using ERP software, manage stock levels, and perform regular cycle counts.
- Tool Disbursement: Issue, receive, and inspect tools or calibrated measuring instruments to production and maintenance workers.
- Quality Assurance: Check returned tools for wear, defects, or damage. Determine if tools need sharpening, repair, or disposal.
- Setup & Kitting: Prepare tooling into job-specific kits and assist machinists with CNC tool pre-setting and measuring if required.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, orderly work area and ensure that all equipment complies with environmental and safety standards.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs, combined with the willingness to wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed boots).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency, familiarity with inventory management software
- 1 - 3 years of inventory management or manufacturing/machining experience
