What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead (DSP) Direct Support Professional - Transportation Mgr position at Guardian Haven Academy?
Guardian Haven Academy, Inc. is looking for a Direct Care Staff Team Lead – Transportation Manager whose main responsibility is to manage the transport of clients to their appropriate destinations and oversee the management and repair of all company vehicles.
**** ATTENTION: This position is at a day program for adults with special needs and developmental disabilities. You must be CPR/First Aid certified and complete pre-employment training.
Other Duties:
o Oversee and manage the transportation operations of the company
o Ensure the safe and timely transport of clients
o Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures
o Monitor and optimize transportation costs
o Supervise and coordinate with transportation drivers, and other personnel to ensure efficient operations
o Track and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
o Resolve any issues or delays in transportation services
o Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
o Other functions may include the performance of CPR in an emergency and behavior assistance
o Demonstrates the ability to work independently
o Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Direct Care Staff Professional
Applicant must have a valid driver's license with no suspensions or excessive speeding tickets.
***** ATTENTION: Transportation Driver Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm (Morning and Afternoon Transportation Routes.)
