Claims Consultant (Desk) - Examiner
Consultant For Construction Claims
Torrance, CA or remote for right individualWhen (insurance and related) clients face construction claims, we need a bright, organized, detailed and numbers-oriented individual to consult with clients on understanding these often highly technical engagements. Guardian Group is in search of a top-notch worker, one who is motivated, precision-focused, and eager for professional growth, one who wants to take their current experience and parlay that into a whole new niche/career specialization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examine and track correspondence and other action steps on all assigned consulting scopes
Provide exemplary customer service, advising on issues of compliance, efficiency/costs, etc.
Prepare thorough, accurate reports in a timely fashion for management review and input
Collaborate with other team specialists
Via document reviews, establish with certainty the degree of accuracy and thoroughness presented; consult with client on determining what occurred as well as their options
Ensure all information and documentation is captured in online systems
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree, most likely with a concentration in accounting, finance, business, etc.
5 years’ experience, at a minimum, in the insurance world, examining and consulting upon claims
Experience with property and construction processes and claims is beneficial, but willing to train the right individual
Impeccable communication, follow-up, and analytical skills
Knowledge of standard office software, especially Excel
Quick-study – and eager to learn, grow, and take on progressively larger challenges and responsibilities
