Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental styles.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, and secure fencing materials accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting of fencing panels, posts, concrete baga, and other materials to facilitate efficient installation.
- Support concrete forming and finishing tasks for fence posts or related structures as needed.
- Maintain construction site cleanliness and organization to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry is highly desirable but not required. On the job training is provided.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery safely.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Will gain experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and site organization.
- Basic skills in fence work and or other construction are beneficial but not required.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail; ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude. Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
