Key Responsibilities
- Perform oral health assessments, including charting conditions of decay, disease, and other dental issues.
- Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
- Take, develop, and evaluate dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Record and maintain accurate patient treatment information and medical histories.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to infection control protocols.
- Stay current on dental hygiene best practices and continuing education requirements.
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $45-$55.
