Job Summary: Guardian Community Care is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within our home care agency. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Schedule:
- Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the office and management team
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and client documentation
- Assist with caregiver scheduling and coordination
- Support onboarding and training processes for new hires
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with compliance documentation and audits
- Manage data entry and ensure accuracy across systems
- Help coordinate communication between staff, clients, and leadership
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or medical office administration preferred
- Experience with HHA Exchange is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, data entry systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
