- Organize, file, and maintain medical records in accordance with established procedures and privacy laws.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of medical documentation, including test results, physician notes, and billing information.
- Assist healthcare professionals by providing requested records in a timely manner while ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Monitor record storage areas for organization and security, adhering to regulatory standards for data protection.
- Respond to internal requests for medical records with professionalism and efficiency, documenting all transactions appropriately.
- Support administrative staff with general office duties related to medical documentation as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret and organize health information.
- Experience handling sensitive medical records with confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA or relevant privacy regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping.

Pay: $19.30 - $22.00 per hour
