About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality and Continuous Improvement Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and driving operational excellence across our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections, identifying and documenting non-conformances, supporting compliance efforts, and coordinating inspection activities with production teams. In addition, the role will contribute to company-wide continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis tools to eliminate waste and enhance quality. A strong understanding of quality systems, and a commitment to a zero-defect culture are essential for success in this position.

The position will be based out of our Waynesboro, PA facility, and reports to the Quality Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily in-process and final inspections of products per approved plans and prints
- Identify and document product non-conformances; generate non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Complete all required quality reports and documentation per unit
- Collaborate with production management to coordinate daily inspection requirements
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Monitor and report on all quality-related activities, processes, and procedures
- Perform required calibration and maintenance of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Assist in developing quality-related policies, procedures, and workmanship standards
- Participate in audits and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
- Contribute to Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement projects
- Support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) by identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Release finished products after passing all inspection criteria
- Perform other related duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Training in Lean Six Sigma.
- Detail-oriented mentality with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
