Job Summary
Guardian Bikes is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll keep materials moving efficiently throughout our facility — from raw materials and bike components to finished products ready for shipment. Qualifications:Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to transport raw materials, bike components, finished products, and other goods throughout the facility.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Stage materials at production lines and move completed products to the appropriate warehouse or shipping areas.
- Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and promptly report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Use scanners and warehouse systems to accurately track inventory movement.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and other warehouse activities as needed.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to keep materials flowing and production on schedule.
- Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and material-handling guidelines.
- Jump in where needed to help the team meet daily production and shipping goals.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
- Valid forklift certification, or the ability to become certified.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts and/or reach trucks preferred.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe material-handling practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Basic computer, scanner, and inventory-tracking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Safety protocols, GMP, ISO standards, or other relevant regulations.
