With strategically located gear depots across the United States, Guardian can service clients within one business day in most markets.
Providing direct support to the Director of Logistics with scheduling and monitoring transportation-related activities, including pickups and deliveries daily.
- Ensuring all required paperwork is assembled prior to booking a load
- Using an online platform to connect with carriers
- Negotiating rates with third party carriers
- Maintaining the shipping log database
- Creating and building new relationships with carriers
- Creating BOL’s and rate confirmations
- Onboarding of new third party carriers
- Providing rate quotes and time estimates
- Booking and coordinating LTL shipments
- Scheduling and tracking all trucks and trailers
- Manage, coordinate and book loads for company drivers
- Assisting with the maintenance and inspections of company owned trucks and trailers
- Assisting with gear planning and truck routing
- Brokering moves for clients
- Build and create relationships with new clients
- Coordinating with Guardian warehouse and field technicians
- Assisting with maintaining FMSCA compliance
