Your Responsibilities May Include
- Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal-care routines
- Preparing meals and encouraging clients to participate when appropriate
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance
- Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and general home tidying
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- Giving medication reminders
- Noticing and reporting changes in a client's well-being
- Acting calmly and responsibly if an emergency occurs
- A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- A compassionate, respectful, dependable attitude
- Good organization and time-management skills
- A commitment to safe, quality care
