Responsibilities
As an HHA or CNA, you will provide one-on-one support that helps seniors and adults with disabilities remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal-care needs
- Helping clients move safely and comfortably
- Preparing simple meals and supporting healthy routines
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Helping with grocery shopping and other errands
- Completing light housekeeping, such as laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, and tidying
- Observing clients and reporting changes in their condition
- Responding responsibly and calmly in emergency situations
- A valid driver's license
- A reliable personal vehicle
- Compassion, patience, respect, and dependability
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- A commitment to safe, high-quality care
