What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildlife Technician position at GUARD ALL PEST CONTROL?
We are looking for a candidate with an open mind, flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong communication skills. We are a small pest control company with competitive pay and opportunity for growth. Construction experience as well as experience on ladders preferred but not necessary. The candidate must, however, be comfortable with managing materials on a ladder and comfortable with heights. Securing houses for wildlife will be your primary responsibility. Industry Competitive Base plus commissions once the probationary period is completed. Must have a current drivers license. Currently 1099 tax forms are provided yearly.
Responsibilities Include:
- completing inspections for wildlife/rodent entry
- using 28-40 ft ladders to complete exclusion work (securing drip edge over construction gaps around rooflines, soffit overlaps, gable vents, etc with tools provided)
- Using foam and screen to secure entry points around foundation of homes
- setting traps in attic and crawl spaces
- completing follow up appointments to ensure exclusion work was successful
- company vehicle maintenance
- managing customer expectations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
