Wildlife Service Technician
Starting Pay: $23-25/hour Benefits | Full-Time
Do you enjoy working outdoors, have advanced solving problems, enjoy helping people, and doing work that's different every day? We're looking for a Wildlife Service Technician to join our team!
As a Wildlife Service Technician, you'll help our clients and residential customers resolve wildlife and rodent issues while building valuable technical and customer-service skills. Good attitude is require. No prior wildlife experience is required — comprehensive training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Inspect properties for wildlife and rodent activity and damage.
- Perform wildlife exclusion, animal removal, trapping, and baiting services.
- Set and check live and snap traps.
- Perform basic repairs, light carpentry, and exclusion work.
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, ladders, and other hard-to-access areas.
- Educate customers and recommend solutions to address their wildlife and pest concerns.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain and safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and applicable regulations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred: Wildlife, pest-control, construction, light carpentry, customer-service, ladder, or harness experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
- Ability to access attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined areas.
- Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.
