Electrical Estimator

Overview

Guaranteed Electrical is growing and looking to add an Experienced Residential and Commercial Electrical Estimator to the team. In this role you will bid and project manage multiple electrical projects at a time. You will play a vital role in keeping our projects running smoothly by developing and submitting accurate and competitive bids. You will also manage field electricians, assist in coordinating schedules and ensuring projects are on budget.

What You Will Do:

· Read plans and accurately write competitive bids on small and large electrical projects.

· Stay on top of project schedules and change order requests.

· Communicate with our teams, vendors, subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth operations.

· Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

· Utilize project management software and tools to organize and manage tasks

· Submit and review timely billings for projects

· Daily reporting starts at the office located at th Ln in Mankato.

The Skills You Will Bring:

· Commercial and/or Residential contract bidding experience is required. (Developing cost estimates for electrical projects, outlining materials, labor, & time required and ensuring compliance with codes)

· Ability to collaborate well with staff, contractors, & business owner.

· Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple projects.

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Strong leadership and field management experience.

· Ability to mentor others

· Excellent communication skills with ability to follow through and up on tasks (both verbal and written)

· Ability to multitask and work independently

· Prior experience in construction industry

· MN Electrical Journeyman or Master license is required

· Monday through Friday work schedule but occasional weekends may be necessary.

Base Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
